Bit like trying to explain an iPhone to your nan, I don't think he quite understands the technology

Robot Wars was definitely his finest hour.

Eurosport UK have got Joey Barton
-
• #104555
Also the worst host of fighting talk I've ever heard.
-
• #104556
Yeah Robbie savage is learning that you can't buy style it just comes with the way you conduct yourself.
-
• #104557
This game is amazing! France look great even though there's cunts are trying to kick them off the park...

He keeps mentioning this controversial second goal, it wasn't controversial. The ball was over the line. If the replay had just shown the 2nd part where the ball was over the line, would that be okay. But because your puny brain can't seem to understand time passing in a linear fashion, there won't be any debate because the right decision was reached as the ball was over the fucking line...
I want to hurl my wine glass at the screen in frustration at this inept imbecile who gets paid to misunderstand this one of the simplest concepts in football.. -

^^^^^But Barton's been on Question Time. Seedorf would trade one of his Champions League medals for that accolade. Savage doesn't even know what a question is.

Pearce's gobbyness aside it is pretty stupid to flash up "no goal", it's pretty consistently "no goal" throughout the game.
-
• #104561
What happened to the third goal? I definitely heard Pearce call goal 3-0.
-
• #104562
Props to Pearce for tenuously linking goal line tech to 1966 via the German supplier of the kit.
-
• #104563
Went the same was as England's first goal. Holes in the net must be too big, the balls keep getting back out.
-
• #104564
Ha, he waited a bit before calling that as a goal.
-
• #104565
Is that 5-0 now? I've lost count and the numbers at the top left on BBC don't seem to be ticking over at the same rate as Pearce is calling it.

Don't go to that thread you'll get lonely.
-
• #104570
well at least that goal line controversy will delay the pundits discussing whether rooney should start for england ...... a-fucking-gain
-
• #104571
Jonathan Pearce is making a fool of himself right about now. The ball was not over the line until later it was. Not hard to grasp.
Shut your gob Pearce. No issue there at all.
This ^
Never liked the cunt
OK Honduras can't tackle for shit but every time they make a challenge he gives it the old "bad challenge....that coulda been red" cobblers then he's made to look an arse when they show the slomo replay and they get the ball

I think I despise pearce's commentary above all others, the self satisfied tone, the over weening belief that he's in the right wins over the other fat munter that fronts the big games on itv, who likes to store up puns and poetic bon mots just for the lull in action that they've been waiting for.
Just stop putting your own subjective spin on the game and tell me what is going on for Christ sake..

Keys and Pearce. Woodward and Bernstein have nothing to worry about.

The ball was hanging out the back of the net.
