Hi,
I think this is exactly what I'm looking for - (just wrote off a really great 52cm frame). I am in Hackney - could I come and have a look this afternoon?

(I have peddles and saddle so bike and set / wheels only, if thats OK). Am also willing to foster potentially as I need a bike urgently but would like to try and repair my current frame when I have more time, looking like reasonably distant future.

MBK Super Record road bike w/ New Success Groupset
Measurements: Seat tube 52 cm, top tube 52 cm.
Specs:
Guys this bike is excellent. I'm the second owner, and the first seems not to have ridden it barely at all. The size (52 cm square) is pretty unusual, but great especially for ladies like me who have the short torso/long leg combination and often find that frames with the right height for them are always too long. Quit buying tiny bikes and jacking the seatpost up. Buy this bike instead.
It is in excellent condition, some cosmetic scratches to the paint that come with locking up in public but otherwise it is totally sound. The New Success groupset is really nice and in fantastic condition. I redid almost all the cabling when I bought it as well. It looks absolutely brilliant in all white kit – I ride it too often to have white bar tape, so I've done that in black, but I did the cabling in white in case I wanted to put on white tape.
It is pictured with Mavic MA40 rims laced to Campagnolo hubs (don't know which exactly, if you can identify them from photos feel free to chime in) and an unbranded cassette since that's what I use to ride it around, but I'm selling it with the original wheels to keep the groupset together. I don't have any tubular tyres though; the ones it came with when I bought it were knackered due to sitting in a shed for 20 years, and I wanted clinchers anyway. I will sell it with both sets of wheels for an extra £90. If you don't want the clinchers and want to ride it home, please have your own tubbies to put on.
Other things it's pictured with because that's what I use, that you can also buy if you want:
I think I am reasonable in asking £350 ONO for this.
I'm selling it because I'm starting my dissertation fieldwork in Tanzania and will be gone for about 15 months. After that we don't know if we're coming back to the UK or home to Canada, it'll depend on work and visas. Therefore I'd also consider a sort of “foster” arrangement where we agree to probably sell it back to me for the same price if I return – although it needn't be a definite commitment on either side, maybe I come back but find a different bike, maybe you decide you can't possibly part with it, no problems. Let me know if you're interested in this.
Collection in Hackney or central London. I'm not posting it. I will be extremely reluctant to part it out. Dibs if you like, but the first person to put cash in my hand takes it.
