I went past today, near the end of some race meeting. Not mentioned on the site, fucking pissed off about that, I wanted to see every home race.
Seemed to be no spectators, maybe it was a secret race meeting?

A Saturday race meeting is on tomorrow at 1pm, a Eurovets match. Not that I know what it's about, apart from the obvious european and veteran.

I saw on the website, next home match Sat 25 May.....I assume it actually means Sat 24 May, tomorrow?????? Or Sun 25?????? Anyone know the start time? Will the track be ok with all this rain?

That adult taster session last night was fun!

On Saturday's racing: an old timer was talking to me about how in the past many cities had their own league because there were so many clubs, I said it's a shame the sport is just hanging on nowadays - even though it was the national over 50s final meeting I only knew because I spotted a brief mention by chance, and that's someone who is into the sport. How is the general public supposed to know and so get into the sport and spread the word etc. The meeting that followed, Midlands v The North was excellent yet I only knew on the day because the announcer mentioned it. How many fans would have loved to have seen it?
