I'm in the same situation. I've just booked an unaccredited ticket, but hope to complete my accreditation in time and switch to the accredited group.
Hope this isn't a PITA for organising, Velocio. I reasoned that it would be easier to shift an additional unaccredited space if I pass, than shift an additional accredited space if I fail. If I pass but the accredited group becomes full in the interim, I'll just have to suck it up.
