Look at the way the film is put together. Every shot is giving us important information about the story. There is no dead time, everything is crystal clear, we go from an introduction to the dangerous cliff, the exited freinds, to immediate shark warnings, then immediate shots of the shark, then the happy relief shot as soon as he gets out of the water. (no euph)
