Trade: fangio (ciocc badged) for touring frame.

This is a fangio frame, its been rebadged as a ciocc (not by me). 50cm, 700c and accepts allen key fit brakes.

comes with look pedals, campag chainset 42t (I have a 39t ring if you want too), campag headset (i'll throw in a seriously scruff stem and SR road bars if you want.)

I'd planned to strip this and have it blasted, the paint isnt great, so trades on the basis thats what it'll need. I've not stripped it, this is as I got it, so trades also on that basis. No dings though.

What I want is a touring frame with canti braze ons around the 56-58 or 23.5" range. dont care about paint long as its a good solid frame.

I have a 56cm Genesis Vapour frame, aluminium, chipped black paint, coupled with a surly long haul trucker fork, with low rider bosses. The vapour was marketed as a 'cross frame but with the steel fork it served very well as a tourer. Did london / edinburgh / glasgow / london two years ago with 40kg of kit and it ran very well.

I have just dismantled it, still need to remove worn out bb cups. Headset may also need replacing. Comes with Avid Shorty Ultimate brakes. You can have the crankset etc too but they have seen many miles. Let me know if interested and I can post photos.

Not to be picky, but I think I'll pass on that frame. I'd rather have all steel unless an old cannonale tourer showed up.

No worries. Wanting a steel tourer is exactly the reason I dismantled it.
