  • daymnnn! where did you find that?

  • Finally got round to removing all traces of Campagnolo from the BMC.
    Got some race wheels too!

Thanks to Dammit for HED knowledge and tyre advice.

Sheer luck, have been looking for a while now. Also did get scammed once by some C***.

It's hard as most of the US don't want to post to europe and the ones they post are all snatched up by the Finns :) but not this one!

  • was just given this trek 600. got some serious rust particularly along the lugs at the bb shell. will spraying it with frame saver be good or should i sand it and do a little paint touch-up beforehand?

  • Hinde frame from Velocipede65 arrived safely.
Planet X TT forks look good on it.
Building it up next week with the parts from my Greg LeMond TVT92.

  • Fork crown/head tube join looks nice and smooth, should build up nicely!

I was quite happy about that, you never know with integrated headsets and forks that weren't made for the frame - there is a 1.5mm gap so it looks good.

The shape of the tubes on the Hinde is awesome. They are all squarish, we'll see how it rides!

  • Scandium tubing?? Also that front fork is screaming for a hinde decal to go over the Planet X one, ore white-out

But I do love the square tubing :)

Yeah man, looks ace! Just realised the fork decals match the grey on the front end of the frame, sweeeet!

  • Nice! Goldtec?

  • Also did some inner cable routing / bar taping for my bullhorns with bar en lever - what a pain but at least, I think it looks good.

  • Says you!

  • An old mountain bike I struggled to shift so I converted it to a town/pub/short tour bike
still needs tweaking, but on one mary bars are ace!

  • Nice! Goldtec?

No, fixie Inc. Fucking dire name, but nice hubs.
Do goldtec make iso fixed hubs?

Me or the dale? If me, then I have to tell you they were under £90 posted for the pair.

I like that. Currently building something very similar but having trouble with the tiny headtube, so holy long stem is on show. Not sure what to do about it.

  • BMX bars

  • cut the stem? or keep it high, sit up and beg is comfy whatever the haters say!

Don't think so, thought they might have been custom.

  • I bought this Mercian frame on the forum a few months ago and gradually built it up. It's a mix of older & modern parts. Quite like it.

  • I quite like it too, real classy looking. What rims have you got on there?
