'Sannino' - First Fixed

So I got this frame off of chris gee from this forum. We're assuming it's a Sannino because he had 2, the other bike having the Sannino decals.

I've never ridden fixed or built a bike up like this, so absolutely no idea what I'm doing!

So far I've got what you see in the pictures here:

I'm looking at getting a set of wheels from varno/v sprint, but I have no idea. If anyone has any advice/opinions on wheels that would be great.

I'm going to Uni in September so for the most part it's going to be my main way of getting around, and some fun rides over summer while I'm here.

Regarding the build, get accustomed to terms like threaded/threadless headset, bottom bracket, drop out spacing. ..

Yeah, I'm getting a brake, just trying to find a single front..

If you mean the £140 set, then they're a good buy.

Definitely good advice. Got it up and running today and nearly shit myself. I'll grab a proper picture tomorrow.

It's way more responsive, which is taking a little getting used to, than my other bike (Genesis Equilibrium, audax-y road bike), but it's really lovely.

I'm starting Uni in September and they only have storage space for 1 bike per student. What to do :(

make friends with someone who has no bike and see if they'll get a space to put your second one in?
