How many times will you be opening and closing the box?

How long do you need one for?

I mean, if you're opening and closing it once in two weeks then just use a cardboard one from a bike shop.

I'm going to put a bike in / out of it four times over the space of a long weekend... but in the meantime it'll be in the hands of baggage handlers, so I'd rather not risk a cardboard box (I imagine it would be fine, but the inconvenience of not having a bike due to busted bits for the Paris Roubaix sportive would far outweight the cost of any damage they could probably do).

Is there anyone who has a bike box/bag I could rent off them for the weekend?
It seems increasingly likely that the bike shop that my brother is supposed to be renting a BB Alan from for stykeproven is going to let him down and we're trying to find an alternative.
We fly tomorrow night so I would need to pick it up in the day.
Any offers or advice greatly appreciated. -

Fitzrovia bikes have bike boxes for hire by the week.

Near the BT tower if you aren't sure. Pop in and ask.
I recommend them. -

I recently used Bike Box Hire London to hire a couple of boxes for a week and was really pleased with the service. They replied to messages straight away, hand delivered them to my house and the boxes themselves worked perfectly. They were also the cheapest I could find and didn't charge a ridiculous delivery fee.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere in central London that hires out bike boxes? I've found a couple of places, but they charge £20 ish each way to courier it to my house which is a bit offputting.
Cheers,
Chris
