Yeah I thought I recognised him from the track day. Sorry I didn't have much chat. I'd already broken out in a weird cold sweat riding there from work and was having a terrible time. I should have just gone home really. So much for racing tonight!

Vince and Corny on Wandsworth High st; too late to DAS and both were in roadie douche mode

Amey, don't be hating, commutes 15 miles, lycra is a necessity, not an option at such distances.
Also to defend Vince, he was riding a road bike, the one he's been having so much difficulty selling, but was rocking short sleeved shirt, cut off jean shorts, a strong beard and some form of ray ban esque sun glassess....
No roadie douchery to be seen -

You're only on it for 40 metres!
Wicked. It sounded pretty cool when you were telling me about it :) -

mule manning, each to their own.
If you want to wear baggy shorts and a t-shirt, then that's great, but riding 30 miles a day at (hopefully) a decent pace means for me I'll be sweating like the proverbial and I'd rather do that four times a week into clothing which is designed for it... -

Did I just spot Crisp'n'G Lover in Maury Road/Kenninghall Road on a white geared Cinelli? I was on foot and if it was you, I didn't recognise you quickly enough under your hat. Hello if so!
That's my route home so highly likely. I did a skid!

Crisping Lover, I think, heading along Forest Road in Walthamstow on his Cinelli a couple of days ago.
That's my route home! I can't do skids.

Morgan and the gang in Regents.
Another group of riders, that looked from "on here". Fixed gear, beards and all that jazz.
Hullo! Looked like you were putting your group in the pain cave, as I would expect. We were having a gentle roll, my knee's been playing up and Nat had been doing sprints that morning. Nice evening for it though.
I noticed those chaps too, fair enough to them for putting in some park work on track bikes.
