• ~~ After yesterday's trolling, I thought I would start fresh. More details and price revised.

I've had this classic steel steed in France for a while now and I have not used it much since I brought it back to London.

It is a 56cm (centre to centre for both seat tube and top tube) Bottecchia made in Columbus Aelle tubing with chrome forks. Size wise, it is set up for me at 5ft10.5 and I would say that it will fit someone between 5ft9 and 6ft1.

It comes in the colourful Team ADR-Agrigel-Bottecchia livery and this 1990 model following their 1989 Tour de France led by Greg LeMond. Colour is purple / yellow.

*Frameset: *56cm square Columbus Aelle, a couple of age related scuff and scrapes but no dents, Chrome Bottecchia forks - can fit up to 700x28 tyres. Shimano 105 headset in good working order. Gipiemme 27.0mm fluted seatpost (moves freely). Saddle is a Genesis that I had de-branded.

Groupset: mostly Shimano 105 1050 so that includes headset, rear derailleur, bottom bracket, brakeset, wheelset and 6 speed cassette 13-26t. The Front (triple) derailleur is Sachs-Huret and the triple chainset is a 170mm Stronglight 100 (50t / 40t / 30t), Maillard alloy pedals are standard english thread. Rims are Mavic MA2 36h with good braking surface. The downtube shifters work well, either friction or indexed.

*Cables: *I have changed the brake cable levers and brake cables (inners/ black outers), redone the bar tape in black. New read derailleur inner/outer cable. New brake pads at the front (Clarks cartridges with Shimano compatible inserts).

Tyres: Good set of puncture proof tyres on it - 700x23 Specialized Armadillo front and 700x28 Panasonic Pasela rear).

Cockpit: Guidon Philippe 'Type Tour de France D357' 42cm bars, new Shimano brake levers, black bar tape, a 90mm ATAC quill stem (moves freely). Purple Vetta C15 wired computer which has a new battery and works well.

The bike rides very well and is ready for a new owner – come and take it for a spin!

The bike is stored at my flat in Brixton Hill, I also work in Putney so I can take the bike there.

Price to sell at £280 ** SOLD FOR £250**

    Cheers
