There's one on Northwich too, my parents are delighted after initially being very dubious.

I'm not sure living near a Waitrose now has quite the same appeal.

Has anyone made Guinness ice cream, or guinness and coconut ice cream as a non dairy variant.

I've got a good amount of lambs liver for dinner. Anyone got a knockout recipe? I've got a few ideas up my sleeve, mostly middle eastern style. Will be cooking it pink, obviously.

add couple of cloves of garlic, olive oil and lemon juice, toss liver in marinade,

very hot grill pan for 30 seconds a side

eat in pitta or other flatbread with a bit of hummus and/or yohurt, fresh mint and some greens. extra points for extra grilled/roasted veg

That sounds quite close to what I was planning to do. Might knock up some baba ganoush to accompany, with a tomato and cucumber salad.

Chicken marinaded in kecap manis, chilli, garlic and ginger, sizzled on the griddle pan... Carrot, avocado, rocket, shallot, fresh mint and coriander, more ginger and chilli... Lovely, sour/sweet/hot dressing... Wasn't sure the ingredients were gonna work together but it was delicious...
