So, London - Brighton and London the long way back, girlfriend's (kati on here) first audax, and first Century in one, probably not a good idea as it was a fairly hilly one.
Gave her my Garmin, so she'll be in charge of navigation (did it better than me) and stay in front of me riding at her own speed, which is idea as she was extremely nervous about doing a 200k, especially with all the kitted up cyclists with carbon and tubs, but relieved to learn there's some nodders with baggy short and Boardman hybrid.
Took me quite some time to convinced her to ignore the Kingston Wheeler gruppo whom seemed to appear a little unsociable at unsociable speed wearing unsociable sock colour.
TL:DR; we narrowingly made the cut-off time at each control, got to Richmond Park 7 minutes before cut-off.
According to my calculation, her saddle height have been raised 5mm every 40km, it was too dang low.
