Yep that's my experience too, it seems great.
Of course a handlebar bag poses the problem of what to do with your front light. Liking the look of fork mounted dynamo lights, but not wanting to shell out on a new wheel and/or an expensive light, I went for a B&M Ixon IQ fork crown mount and a Smart Lunar 35 lux front light. Despite not being the same brand the mounts fit perfectly, I read somewhere that Planet X's lights work too. Normal battery operated and good quality front light, plus the bits to fit it behind an ordinary caliper brake, for £25 total. Project cheap ugly FBNPNA is pretty much finished now.
