Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

944s are so underrated. Brilliant cars, especially in turbo guise. Just don't break the rear glass fitting bikes in. It's expensive...
If I was buying a front engine porka, it would be the 968 cs in French blue. Only ever been driven in one but it was a very sweet handling car.

Agreed. The 944, either S2 or Turbo, is a brilliant car for hardly any money. I have a 911 Turbo too, which is obviously worth ten times the price of my 944 S2, but pound for pound, the 944 makes me smile more. Handles really nicely, and a sweet engine. I love my 944.

Thats why I want another, as a track car. Surely people will eventually wake up and realise how good they are ? Prices cant stay bargain basement for ever.
