  • Electric scooter?

  • see what there next post is

  • dunno, its achievable, as the speeds correlate with the inclines and junctions, i just presum someone who was capable of running a sub 15minute 5k would show up in a google search!

  • How much sub 3min/km?

Can you zoom in and see if they are on the road or the pavement? They may have been on a bike.

Aye, look to see if they went round roundabouts the right way, and took reasonable lines at juntions, etc, indicating they were on a bike rather than on foot.

  • I've done this the other way around. Logged a ride as a run. Happens.

  • ^ Same here. But there are quite some lame people out there who do these things on purpose. As for finding him on Google, you'd have to assume he's using his real name.

Go to town, I can probably take the segment back if it really bothered me, I'm more impressed with the speed overall than anything!

    0.1mile off of a Grand Fondo. -.-

  • You have to sacrafice a few km the the strava gods. My 214km solo ride is, IIRC, listed on strava as 211km. Cnuts took a full 3km off me.

  • They always fail to register the first few km of my rides - probably due to a lack of satellites/magnets.

Also: free 30 day trial going on at the moment.

  • I'm on the free trial now.

My recent suffer scores are epic.

I may have to sack off cycling, and take up needle point.

  • got to get this going to record some work stuff
been pressing the download button on the stupidphone for twenty minutes with an assurance 'will be downloaded soon'
    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank, already pissses me off

  • I just went Premium.

Golden Cheetah hasn't been working as I wanted. I think you need a power meter (and to test yourself on it) before Cheetah is worth bothering with.

All I want is basic analysis of rides with HR. I'd like to see if my easy rides are easy enough / hard rides hard enough via time-in-zone. I've setup my zones as properly as I can (basic 5 zones is basic).

    We'll see.

    Training peaks all the way.

Not as pretty, and social media friendly as strava. But its a far better tool for performance data handling. Works well With HR too. You customize Your homepage to include the tables and Charts you want. You can then customize the data shown when you open individual rides. So its as technical, or as simple, as you want it to be. I have TP Premium paid out the year. But I wont be paying for Strava Premium once my trial is up.

I use both HR and Power zones. You can use a number of different zone set-ups. But Ive been using the sub threshold for longer flatter rides (bit of a fad).

27mins? Will you be recording that?

  • Im meeting you at bottom of r.hill
    2 p.m
ill get lunch at south coast roast for us in return for starva help
    see you in a bit

  • Ooh, not been there yet. See you there.

I might run this alongside and see how they compare. I'll probably end up using TP or something similar eventually... when we all have powermeters in our shoes and SRMs are antiques!

Strava is just pretty pictures and gimmicks. I mean what the actual fuck is sufferscore?

    Fun as it admittedly is.

Also. I think the free version of TP is probably great if you dont have a Power meter.
