1: no
2: yes (well, depending on age), but you really, really, really won't like the price.Probably better getting a shagged shifter that you can cannibalise for the body. What's the variety of Ergo you have? Which body shape?

Two part araldite will defo be enough to bond it. I've used it to bond a Vitus back together again (5 years ago) still going big guns! It will probably take 48 hrs to competely cure though. If you can make a small clamp to hold it all together all the better.

Plenty of 2nd Gen. Ergos with knackered shifting on eBay: just swap the guts over.
Whether it can be repaired depends on exactly where it's cracked and how bad it is: worth a go first though.

Yeah, araldite or another epoxy might work, especially if it's a part of the body that only comes under tension when shifting. When I've broken an Ergo body though, it's tended to be around the brake lever pivot - puts too much tension on the repair to be confident in it, especially for something that's a bit safety-critical ...
Swapping the innards over is fiddly but not that hard: it won't need to be a Record body that you cannibalise either. Chorus will definitely work; other lower bodies may depending on exactly which model you've got (2nd/3rd gen).
Somehow I have managed to crack the plastic housing just under the hood.
The impact is that when one tries to shift, it dislocates.
