No hedwinds either.
You've missed the UK stock, call babol and see when they're next getting stock. They're the best place.

claim to send it, but they don't have the product in stock, which seemed likely.

Bought a 14t sprocket from velodrome shop on Monday afternoon and it was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. Forgot about this thread 'til after I'd ordered (not ordered from them before) and was worried I'd be waiting weeks/months for it. Pleasantly surprised!

Absolutely appalling service. I ordered a replacement crank, bb, and assorted tools on the 7th of April. After a week and a bit of waiting I contacted them and was e-mailed a Royal Mail signed for number to track the order. After visiting my local RM depot twice I had it explained to me that the signed for system employs a roll of stickers, a dispatch book, and a Royal Mail bar code scanner. Basically, if an item is picked up for delivery then it is scanned and can be tracked, and it is also signed for by RM staff. Needless to say, the number does not appear on Royal Mail's system. I asked Velodrome shop to send confirmation that the items had been signed for. No response on that front, but some customer service manager told me that according to 'Terms and Conditions' I would have to wait 30 days before they could claim on RM insurance for the 'stolen' items and then reprocess my order. Needless to say, that day passed and I contacted them again. The reply e-mail was very apologetic, with promises to send me the items by express delivery. Six days later and I'm still waiting! I contacted them this afternoon and was given yet another fictional tracking number, together with lies about failed deliveries. I have requested an immediate refund to my credit card. I am absolutely furious with Velodrome shop. Unprofessional, incompetent, and to cap it off, well practised at lying to customers. It's about time we simply used the power of the internet and WOM to put this shabby enterprise out of business. I don't earn a lot of money, and when someone takes my hard earned cash and gives me nothing but lies it frustrates trhe fuck out of me. I don't even want the parts any more; the trouble I have had has left such a bad taste that I don't want to see them on my bike reminding me of this episode.

I was pretty fucked off when they debited my account the same day for a frame I ordered, only for me to phone up a week later when it hadn't arrived to be told it wasn't in stock, and I would have to wait up to 7 days for the money to go back into my account. (The money arrived on the 7th day, as far as I am aware bank transfers take 3 days tops.)
Sure be as lazy and unresponsive as you like customer service but don't be just taking people's money, that's not right.
Looks to me that they may be basically insolvent, and keeping this money here and there is greasing the failing machine.

If you Google their contact address it's actually a third party e-commerce company called DMS who handle their and lots of other company's "logistics'.
Velodrome Shop is just a e-commerce storefront with none of their own stock held at all or even dedicated staff.
VS use DMS's "just in time" stock handling service aka "we hold no stock"
Things have changed again and Velodrome Shop now aren't even using this e-commerce fulfillment company. Their current registered office is in a village near Weston Super Mare and their trading address is a Barratt house in a cul de sac in Corby.
The warning on their website that "There are no facilities for customer personal collections or visits at this address. Please do not attempt to collect an order or visit this address as you will be turned away by on-site security which may cause offence. There is no shop front or customer service facility available at our warehouse." is rather laughable

Same shit... still waiting

It's places like Velodrome Shop that made it so hard for people like me to open their own e-commerce site. Distributors won't touch us because of horrors like this. If you used a credit card (not debit), you might be covered under the Consumer Act. The bank will refund you and they will then pursue Velodrome Shop.

You have 6 months to dispute the payment with your card issuer under scheme rules, longer for subscription services, and as a nice 2 fingered salute they'll likely get a charge by their payment service provider for the privilage.. :D I'll be reminding them of this if they don't hurry up. Wheelies will be getting the same treatment, not even acknowledged my last mail so dispute is heading their way.. cheapest comes at a price it would seem.

I should've read this thread before ordering.
Ordered chainring, some phil wood hubs and a couple of tools on their site on the 1st. Shipping email came through on the 2nd. I got in touch with them on the 8th when nothing'd turned up. By the 9th they'd responded and said delivery (by royal mail) had been refused - now, I work in an office of about 100 people. We've had deliveries every day to our staffed office over the bank holiday weekend (I know because I came in each day to check for it) by royal mail so that's just an outright lie.
When I pushed them about it, they gave me a signed for tracking number, where there's no info on royal mails site about which means it's definitely not been refused - if anything, it means it's only just been shipped (and I don't believe this to be the case) but even if that's true, it still means they've lied about when it's been shipped. They then said "oh, maybe somebody signed for it and hasn't given it to you" which goes against what they first said about it being refused.
I'm cancelling the order and getting stuff from tracksupermarket & BLB now I think, and not going near this bunch of sh**s again.

Maybe more of the tracksupermarket and less of the BLB™

Sadly tracksupermarket don't have the phil wood hubs I need

Same experience as others. Ordered a helmet which they claim to have dispatched on the 28th but there is no sign of impending delivery.
Even more annoying than the lack of a phone number is that their email doesn't work. Eventually I used the contact form hidden away on this page http://www.velodromeshop.net/index.php?p=page&page_id=test which did elicit a response from "Michelle". Apparently their IT department determined that the problem with email is down to me which is utter rubbish. The company isn't contactable by any practical means and I certainly regret having given them my business. Lesson learned - next time use a bike shop that actually carries stock. They are quite local to me so I'm not ruling out an unsolicited visit to their premises and a conversation with "on-site security" -

Glad to say that the helmet arrived. Far too much anguish involved in dealing with this company. I emailed them to say that I'd got my order but the message bounced back as usual. Maybe I would use them again, but only if they were properly contactable via the phone and email.

Just came across this thread and wanted to add my few cents on my experience with Velodrome. I ordered some brake components from them, for the first time, a couple of weeks back and had no problems whatsoever, was sent super quick and Michelle was very helpful in responding to my Qs in the meantime. A+

Placed an order on 17/07/2014. Then I read this thread and became rather concerned. However the item arrived correctly on 19/07/2014. Was very pleased with my order, and would like to offer my positive feedback. Internet forum often focus on the negative, but let's hope there are mostly other good stores out there we seldom hear about

I also had a smooth experience with the website, ordered my Fuji track from there, no problems, but it does seem to be luck of the draw from what I have read
Babol don't have stock actually. They're UK importer so that's why.
http://www.babol.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=KKOMPROLL
They have the challenger though?
No where will have stock, as they all get from babol.
