If I'd perma-banned people when they'd first (or repeatedly) given me a chance to do so, we'd have far fewer people here now and far fewer things would've happened that have been fun, cool, etc.
I dunno, I quite like having a belief in the ability of people to rehabilitate and move forwards rather than just be highly repetitive.
Of course, I do permaban when people really go out of their way to prove my beliefs are badly founded in their case.
