For Sale: Scapin Blake with Campag Chorus 11 speed groupset

My pre-second baby clear out continues and sadly I need to sell this beautiful Scapin Blake carbon fibre bike.

Scapin are a small, highly regarded Italian manufacturer famed for their steel frames, but they've been building high quality carbon frames for the past 10 years or so.

I bought it from the former Scapin UK importer who'd built it up as a show bike, rode it a couple of times, then kept it in his garage. I bought it earlier this year, have ridden it a fair amount but it's still in immaculate condition. The frame is a full carbon monocoque, made from 3K high modulus carbon, with a matching fork and an integrated seat post and headset and BB30 bottom bracket.

The bike is equipped as follows;

Shifters: Campag Chorus 11 speed
Front mech: Campag Chorus 11 speed
Rear mech: Campag Chorus 11 speed
Cassette: 12-25 11 speed
Brakes: Campag Centaur with Swiss Stop green brake pads
Chainset: FSA Gossamer Carbon compact with 50/34 chainrings
Wheels: Fulcrum Racing 5
Tyres: Michelin Krylion
Saddle: Fizik Arione
Stem: Deda Zero Servizio Corse 120 mm long
Handlebars: Deda Newton compact shallow drop 44 cm

There is some slight crash damage to the right hand Ergo lever from a crash when it was on my previous Colnago frame. It's purely cosmetic and the lever still works perfectly.

The frame is a Large and the measurements are as follows;

Top tube: 567 mm centre to centre
Head tube: 165 mm
Centre of bb to saddle top: 803 mm

The integrated seat post is cut at approx 730 mm and I've used 4 spacers to get it up to the height I need, but it's probably about as high as you can go. Clearly there is scope to go lower and a different saddle may add a little more height.

Chorus 11 speed group would be circa £800 new, this is such a good deal can't believe there has been no interest.

Look at what 1k gets you off the peg!
