I've had weapons disappear from my backpack when logging back in and got mighty confused when my character was apparently lost, so I stared a new one then when I switched server it went back to the old character. Since found you can have two characters, one on a normal server and one on a Hardcore server. I personally prefer hardcore as you cant use the 3rd person view to peer over walls and round corners so makes it a bit more immersive.
Cant wait until they implement base building and vehicles. Zombie pathfinding is being fixed soon I think.
Definitely up for playing tomorrow night, it will be good to actually see something other than Zeds!
