There are so many assumptions of privilege in this statement (e.g. people only have one job, that job has a regular schedule that finishes every day at the same nice time around 6pm, have very short commutes) that you should be a bit embarrassed -- whether it was a joke or not. (Not funny.)

Hi guys,
on Sat (7 June) there will be a Cycling showcase at the Hackney City Farm (and surrounding). Behind the Albion pub at 94 Goldsmiths Row there's a court where we will run a polo session for everyone interested, especially people who have never tried before. We're gonna start at 10am, end latest 5pm, maybe earlier.
But it would be good to have games going - basically run a session like on Tuesday nights at Newt.
Please come along, bring all the loaners and mallets you have (and a cone if you find on the way), and your good spirits...
