• say hello if you spot me: blue frame, white wheels, riding fixed wearing skeleton cycle top.

  • Anyone know how to contact someone on the Mass to find out where they are now? Then maybe I can catch them.

I managed to miss the start ... d'oh!

  • At Buckingham palace now

  • Okay, rolling that way now. If you let me know which way you're heading when you leave, that would be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • Which way you go?

  • Lost everybody

  • They went up strand as far as I know

  • He he ... I must have covered twice the mileage of the Mass by now. You wouldn't think it, but it's like looking for a needle in a haystack!

  • My first time in the cm and it´s been amazing! I haven´t chatted to anybody, but just for the atmosphere it´s worth it.

  • Glad to hear it.

    I got there eventually!

I lost everybody after Buckingham palace, how? i dont know lol

Anyway it was really enjoyable, spoke to lots of people the best thing was being able to ride around without worrying about cars especially around lots of other cyclists, i will definitely be going to the next one and would recommend anybody who hasnt been to go!

  • Yeah, it was a fun night.

  • hey all I am very often on the mass, sometimes on my own so if anyone wants to buddy up I am keen. Yesterday was good but I find all the Buckingham Palace standing around / raving a bit boring, so I left then.

Next month with be the lightest of the year, should be v. well attended.

    This
(Is a good chance for people to use the park though )

  • I've never attended one of these but very keen on going this Friday. Where does it start and finish?

  • The start is stated in the thread title. Southbank, near waterloo bridge / National Theatre.

There is no end to critical mass, it just sort of peters out I guess.

  • The last one started under Waterloo Bridge, on the South Bank. The ride seemed to peter out at Trafalgar Square, don't know if it went on much farther than that?

  • Wow synchronicitous use of the expression 'peter out'.

  • ... I find all the Buckingham Palace standing around / raving a bit boring, so I left then. ...

This. I tend to piss off when that happens. Or when people start doing that waving your bike over your head and blocking major crossroads screaming.

    Critical Mass is mostly awesome.

  • Final petering location in the end was the concrete skate park on Southbank.

  • The Mass tends to split up, and small masses go where they're going. For instance it often used to end up at The Foundry or some other pub with lots of space outside.

Ahhh the Foundry those were pretty good nights! Shame it went.

  • Buck palace milling is slightly annoying. Upside is that CM is probably the only time you can get away with bunning joints outside the Sovereign's gaff

  • They want you to 'bun' so we don't organise ourselves and decide burn their gaff down or something.

  • Mass before last got to the palace in about 25 / 30 mins was far too soon to stop. I'm in for this month! XD
