  • Those are 700C x 27 mm Challenge Paris Roubaix -tyres. Supposed to be comfy.

  • Does anyone know where I can get some lime green single chainring bolts to match the colour on my white pompino frame? Most of the ones I can find are either doubles or are more of a forest/racing green.

I'm trying to kit it out with matching green anodised components. So far I have an FSA Orbit MX headset and a Charge Chopstick seatpost.

Thinking of getting some Superstar Techno Lime Green Nano Flat pedals too but I'm not 100% sure it'll colour match with the rest.

  • There is such a thing as too much colour matching.Get ones which match your chainset.

  • It's a mirror black crankset with a Velosolo black chainring. Any colour will look good on it really, but only black or green will go with the bike.

The parts listed are the only ones I'm looking to colour match so it's not exactly overkill. Everything else bar the rims (grey) are black or white.

    this is £99 very tempting.

But cant run a standard rear brake.

Only con I can see here. Seems too good to be true!??

  • if you dont want to run disc brakes then surely this is what you want?

    same price.

  • only size small in stock. I ride fixed anyway so not really an issue and was thinking of getting something suitable for touring do a disc wheel option would be ok.

  • ah yeah just noticed that.

I'm tempted to get one for my gf.

  • Sod it ill buy one when I get home If i cant make it work ill sell it on and someone else can benefit from a bargain.

  • How are pompinos for sizing. Im 6ft usuraaly ride a 56cm frame.

Are their sizings on their website accurate. They suggest i get a large frame?

  • i agree

  • I also agree.

  • Then thats settled. Large it is.

  • looks great

  • Here's my Pomp, gonna do commuting, sscx, gravel grinding and touring with this.

    So slick.

  • New commuter. Feels good to be back on a Pomp.

Should have ordered a white one, black and gold turned out to be more boring than I expected.

  • ^ real nice.

Has anyone got a picture of a Pompino with Surly Long Haul Trucker forks? Interested in seeing what it looks like.

  • I can offer Cross Check forks

Would look ok if colour matched.

Meanwhile I had a dream last night that I was tuning the rear shifting on my pomp (?!) in my dad's bedroom (?!?!) and suddenly it just completely failed at the bb. It didn't snap it just fell apart like a bit of cake.

  • Ordered a V4 pompino the weekend. Should be here today, but yodel is delivering it. I hope they dont leave a slip saying "wouldn't fit through letter box, had to leave in garden underneath the garden gnome"

  • oo that V4 pomp with the easton fork is amazing! i would get a pomp in heartbeat if the stock fork wasn't so gross

This is a L pompetamine with the short (26") disc trucker fork. There is space for a 38mm high tyre.

  • How come you're thinking of swapping to the Trucker fork?
