White specialized road bike beneath a blue backpack, red t-shirted guy set a new record for near-death experiences this morning on Wandsworth Rd near the Vauxhall Sainsbury construction site. Sailed through a red light past stationary traffic into the path of a fucking massive construction truck beginning it's turn south west into the side street. Cyclist realises he's about to die and grabs ALL the brakes, locking them up and fishtailing his bike toward the front wheel.. somehow stayed upright and came to a halt right in front of the front-left wheel. Closest thing I've ever seen.
5 minutes later, north of Vauxhall, I stop for some lights and the same guy cruises past me through the red and across the path of cross traffic, again.
Faith cycling.
