there's a pub called the crown a couple of hundred yards down on your left once you reach the top of the hill that you can recuperate at (with a giant wooden carving my grandad made in the woods just behind)
also I'd probably recommend riding all the way to the end of dry street then take nethermayne down towards london road (the pavement is shared use on the left hand side) as it's preferable to crossing the double roundabouts going over the A13 on a bike imho.
