I really like my Speedplays and if you don't think the normal ones are secure enough you get a track spring set that have a even tougher and tighter spring but I've just got the normal road ones and they are magic.
As said they are a total bastard to walk in but you can't have it all ways. Although that thread of weight weenies put me off for the way speed play were being right and proper counts...
