Get bsa cups see if they fit.
French threads are the wrong way round non drive side.
Velo Orange still does french bb. -

Certainly late 90s 'Competition' models were BSA/BSC threading.
I had a Super Competition from the mid 80s and seem to think it was also the same, earlier models were either French or Swiss thread BBs

I bought an 80's comp and was disappointed to see a French bracket in there. Cost me 45 notes to put a new one in it!

Hello folks
Would anyone happen to know what BB the above mentioned bike would take?
About to pull the trigger on one, seller informs me there is some drive side creak.
While it may be as little as a loosened chainring bolt, I'd like to know what BB the frame is meant to take.
Read that they take French threaded BBs and I'm not entirely sure he has the appropriate BB in place currently.
