Everyone wanted me to do RAAM, I've been busy practicing my American...
If you do RAAM I will definitely make myself available to hand bottles up to you.

What's the best way to aero-ise a road bike for minimal cost? Clip on bars?

The research say yes....

Clubman: Don't forget about Mark 'Pnut' Arnold off 110. I think he's capable of a 3:30 on a good day.
Thanks! I will try to make sure he's on my camera's memory card.

Apologies for clogging up the time trial thread with all this power readings talk
Wasn't you per se but it got a bit ridiculous back there...

Controversial, but why not just ride up on feel? You're experienced enough to know when you're riding at an unsustainable pace.
This. Not a race, watch the scenery, feel the burn. Attack everyone. :)

Breakfast eaten, carb drinks made up, about to get dressed and then wait for my lift.
Will report back some time after 2 assuming I finish!

Good luck! Well actually it's not about luck at all.
Dig deep and turn yourself inside out in the last hour to finish, and beat that mate.
Bragging rights ahoy. -

How did it go all?
Awesome work, hope the wind wasn't too brutal. -

Probably didn't go hard enough but averaged 194 watts (not normalised) and went round in 4.46.
Is Tom Mcevoy a forumger? If so he smashed it despite missing his start time!

Also thanks for the advice, my original plan if 205-210 would have been painfu! -

Sorry if it's been mentioned recently, but what was the course for the 100?

I managed a 20W improvement on last week just by starting slower and getting the pacing better.
240W for a 4:08No Pnut but Tops did a 3:40!
