Agreed that looks good on a well used frame like that, however mine is relatively new and in good nick, it would just look like a bodge. To update, and for anyone looking to do so in the future -I've got the minoura bottle mount, which works very well on any saddle with standard rails - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/minoura-sbh-300-dual-bottle-cage-bracket/
The issue, however, was that my previous bottle cages didn't really work very well with this, and I'd lose bottles where the alloy bent under the weight of the water bottles and the stress of bumps/potholes.
Bought 2 of these to try, and they work well for 6 quid each - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/elite-custom-race-bottle-cage-2013-1/ I've used them on the commute fine, and did a 40 mile ride today. The bottles came out once, but that was over an enourmous speedbump that I took far too fast. I've also bought one of these for 7 quid - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/lezyne-flow-cage-bottle-cage/ which look and feel like they are more secure, however it is quite difficult to get the bottle out and in, which might limit how useful it actually is for holding a bottle you can drink from on the move.
