A) all the time, on my road bike ;) they're probably not that great for everyday/commuting because the cleats can wear down and they're much more expensive to replace than others
B) have to be careful, there's a very good company in America that i'm going to be putting an order in with soon but speedplay get very touchy with aftermarket bits for their pedals and I don't want to bring attention to the company that might mean they have to stop making them, other than that you can get cheaper j&l ones i think...
