Seriously, Ed, if you're pissed off with this thread because it feels like we're all taking cheap shots at you, post here, or let me know.
Often I think the joke is in the set-up of what the list says, and what the post is, rather than poking fun at you personally. But I'd understand if you just hated the whole thing.
-
• #1203
Right, so he's deleted every post linked to in this thread, and now rarely posts on LFGSS, and you're wondering if he thinks it's all a great big laugh, rather than just rather sinister bullying. Grow the fuck up.
-
• #1204
now rarely posts on LFGSS
About twice my posting frequency in the last 1 day (and about 10 times yours), hardly a shrinking violet.
-
• #1205
^^Yes, I think it might come across as sinister bullying, that's why I'm asking. My own contributions are not intended to poke fun at Ed, but if that is the intention, or effect, of others, I would want to know.
The strong point you make is weakened by your 'grow the fuck up' comment.
-
• #1206
You don't think people are taking the piss out of him? You have jeez like powers of delusional interpretation.
-
• #1207
and now rarely posts on LFGSS,
40 times in one day, a couple of days ago. Averages about 20, or more. I think you may be the only person who has noticed his absence.
If people take the piss out of the way his deafness makes him write then they can fuck off. But equally he can't complain if people take the piss out of much of *what *he writes. He doesn't need anyone's protection any more than the rest of us. -
• #1208
I knew they were taking the piss, the question is whether Ed takes it in good humour. It seems clear now he is deleting the posts and doesn't like the thread. I'd be happy to see it deleted.

Says the man who was the last to add to the list:

Did you read the post immediately after that?

Having your cake and eating it, as usual.

Its fun to make fun and be a dick. It's fun to be made fun of and have people be a dick to you. That's what banter is.
It is always unfair and wrong if only half of it is happening. If Ed really hates it, he should be nice and boring.
-
• #1214
From the first page of the thread:
I believe EggScoble to be a forum treasure is why, I await his pronouncements with baited breath...
Which is the attitude in which I was posting.
But, if it's become nasty, and he's tired of having the piss taken for everthing he writes, I think that's fair enough.
Lovely cake, this.

Fair enough, I stand corrected. I don't see him post much. Maybe he only posts on cycling threads, which I don't really read (Misc and Meaningless for me).

Boo fucking hoo...

Could always replace it with "I bin Jeezed" ?

I don't think that's a Scoblism, mainly just calling you out as a buyer.

From the edited posts in the list above, I get the feeling that Ed doesn't want his scoblisms documented...
Sorry if we've offended you Ed.
Didn't mind the first five minutes, and now it's tiring.
This is all.
