Yeah, taking one's time scanning is mos def important.
To be honest I see no point taming / neutralizing Ektar so much though; I enjoy it's vivid crazyness.
Well I do like cross processing as well, so go figure. What's irritating me much more than the colours is the fact that not the closest eye of hers is in focus, but her right one, and there's something in it also.
Maybe splitting hairs now (like the one lonely one above / left to her left cheek :-P ),
but it's a real nice picture, and stuff like this irritates me more than colour sometimes. -

Hey does anyone have an olympus xa2 flash?
Yes, but not for sells.
They come up on ebay, be patient, don't pay £12 buy it now (there's usually a couple on) as you'll only pay £2-3 in auction.
I've broken so many xa flashes.

In other news two of the CT Precisa's from the "compact comparison" have been developed;
Mju-II still showing the light leaks although I double taped all the things with black electrician's tape.
The Nikon is apparently working as it should. Can't wait to scan these.

I'm still enjoying the saga of your magically leaking mju ii
try taking a shot in a completely lightless environment and see if you still get interdimensional light leaks -
• #8066
Could it be leaking light from the front?
-
• #8067
I don't know how, but yes it does leak from the front.
It's worst when the sun is bright, indoors it's more subtle.I'll post some pics.

Here's one from a rainy day, fresh out of the scanner; light leak (on the lower end of the picture) rather subtle:

This has probably been asked and answered a million time before but, what's a good place to buy film online? Have found a few but postage is always expensive. I'm after Ektar and Portra mainly...

Leak on my Mju ii is similar, left side. Must be from the front I think

The shape / position is pretty much always like one can see here, just intensity varies..
MacReady I saw leaks like yours (going right to the edge of the frame) while image searching on the topic, but none like mine until now..
Awwww dang! I wish I'd put a bit more time in to the colour before putting it up! But I didn't get home from work and start scanning till 1am, I need to be more patient.
The neutral versions look great!
