For Sale: '79 Koga Miyata Gents Luxe-S 61cm - cracked frame

Hi All,

I purchased this back in 2011 from CharlieHalfBar (original thread - http://www.lfgss.com/thread58815.html) who I believe also purchased it on here, and having ridden it happily for about four months was knocked off by a taxi (face ended up worse off than the Koga). Sad.

Having put it away in storage (minus the wrecked front wheel) and bought another complete, I took it out recently to look it over and noticed a crack in the down tube. I asked at a couple of my local shops (being something of a noob) and was advised not to ride the frame.

For this reason I'm offering it for sale as a complete to see if anyone may be interested in buying it for parts or might consider a repair on it. The differences to the original listed spec (http://www.lfgss.com/thread50495.html) are the front wheel (Campagnolo hub and Mavic rim), and that it'll be sold without pedals, pump or bell. The frame also has several additional scratches (which I could photograph) but I guess that's probably not of interest considering the crack.

So I'll list a price of £150 ONO - feel free to PM or comment with questions.

£150 is a terrific price for all the Dura Ace on there, should have no trouble selling. If it ever came to splitting though I'd be interested in the brake callipers and levers. glws!
