  • Your right, sorry dude, I was pissed off about this all day but your right!

  • still clear as mud, why pissed?
Looks like a nice mexico frameset, identical to the sarroni original with the crimped tt
groupset is later, and with the black post, a custom build, so hard to price as a whole
the front hub looks high flange,(unsure if delta groups had these hubs), which would be 1st gen super record ,and require freewheel rather than cassette for rear, so would pre date the framset

  • Hm, that's not good. :-/

my solution is to build a stopping clamp for the seat post.
    baking time

out of the oven..needs some cleaning n finishing

  • What is the origin/history of the colnago time carbon fork. Seems to be on Masters and C40s

  • Might be parting with my C40hp frame & fork due to current dosh issues if anyone is interested

  • As my Cannondale was knicked it finally forced me to complete this build. Tis mighty awesome.

  • Cheers, really pleased with it. Doing Milan San Remo sportive on June 8th so got her built in time for that.

  • i have the c50 frame set and 2010 record 11

how stiff do you feel it is in comparison to what else you've ridden?

  • After the wheel build I hadn't the funds to go record so went chorus.

  • i got my group nos and cheap, so was very lucky

  • I had a Cannondale CAAD 9 that was stolen last week so can only compare it to that. The whole package is a big step up no doubt - it seems to get up to speed quicker and easier and maintaining that speed seems to take less work. Could be pure placebo but putting some of that down to stiffness of the frame and the wheels.

  • Very pleased with Chorus though. The Dale was running centaur and you can feel the difference in the first shift.

  • i like the c50,you can rip up on it if you want, and it's also comfortable for a long haul

did you build the wheels yourself?

  • No, spec'd them out with Pearson cycles and they built them for me. Chris King hubs on archetype rims. It's seems to be popular combo but it certainly works. It is very comfortable and I think the wider rims really add to that.

  • I like the black h +sons, just a shame you get that break surface wear aesthetically

  • Wrong thread but he has had this for sale for a number of times already.

Stripping it and taking off the shifterboss were definitely bad calls...

  • Keep on rockin in the free world.

  • Nice.

  • Mapei Edition master pista. Are there others out there? The only other Mapei pista versions I've seen don't have chromed lugs.

  • Here's mine. '78 Pista. Beautiful, but too small. Selling it. Whole frame is chromed then painted, so all the chips have chrome shining through which looks really cool.

  • Colnago pista Alu frames are still the most stunning bikes ever.

Is it possible to ever find a frameset under £800.

  • This is porn!
