for comparison. I'm not saying one way is right or wrong but it's just how I was taught.
When you pull the curve hard to the edge you essentially tell PS to take the colour that was at say, 3% and force it to 15% without a smooth transition.
Anyway, getting in the way of good pictures - there was nothing really wrong with the original!
