So, confusion between Tennents Lager and Tennents Super I see. Tennents is decent enough standard or cooking lager, far superior to Carling or Fosters, for example but hardly a premium brew. Does exactly what it says on the tin and for that I love it.
Tennents super was apparently hived off from the main brand and is not made by tennents anymore, not sure if this is correct though. It's the super which is popular with the Italian hipster fraternity.
