Try London Bike Kitchen in Haggerston if you're close by there. £12 an hour for a stand and a good range of tools (plus advice if required). Fitted a headset myself there at the weekend

Hey, I have a homemade one, works fine - you're welcome to borrow it, though you'd need to collect from Pimlico/Camberwell... any good?

Otherwise you could build your own for less than a fiver - threaded rod, a couple of big washers and a couple of suitable nuts... B&Q

Tips:
