That's kinda what I was thinking, it doesn't have to be bulletproof but yeah it's gonna be used properly up a mountain.
I did see that 16-35 but that's likely gonna be a little hard to justify unless it somehow manages to be completely superior to the 17-40 as it's over twice the price right now.
