Not been following this thread lately, so this might have been mentioned already.
Nikon will now be happy to replace the shutter unit of the D600s if you want / need to. Just spoke to the guys from fixation, their advice is to carry on using the free sensor cleaning service Nikon provides for D600s only until Nikon stops doing it, then ship the camera back to have the shutter replaced.
I have to say I haven't actually noticed mush dust spots, as in nothing more than I would expect from any other DSLR. I merely wanted to get the free sensor cleaning provided from fixation which has to be used within a year of purchasing the camera... happy days if I can carry on getting my sensor cleaned for free...
