DUMB QUESTION So... talking with a friend last night. He has some 1" threaded straight blade carbon fork with an aluminium steerer. The steerer tube is quite long and the threaded section probably won't be long enough for my frame. If I bought a 1" threadless headset, could I cut off the threaded section and use these forks?
