my dzr dice lasted 6 months of riding too.
it's so fucking annoying as they're great shoes in every other way but the durability is unacceptable.
picked up a pair of chrome lower southside pro's on sale for $50 at the chrome hub in chicago (as well as some other major bargains) and while not as featureful they seem pretty solidly made, only used them twice so far so will have to see how they hold up...
