  • Past month I have started working on something i wanted to do for a long while.
    Here are some pics :

Hopefully I will finish it tomorrow full bike weight around 6,5 kg. But I plan to remove the ally swing arm which is an anchor, and I should be in the 5 kg mark.

    What do you think?

  • That's fucking insane. Good job.

  • super cool!

  • woah! if there ever was a bike that deserves it's own thread, that's it. chapeau

  • ^ very good work on the above. I'd be keen to get some more details. Get a thread going.

has anybody used a headdoctor? is it any better than a starnut?

  • is it any better
    paging tester

  • ^^ Depends on what you mean by 'better'...

  • has anybody used a headdoctor? is it any better than a starnut?

I use one on my fixehbiek. It's easier to install and remove than a starnut, but they both do exactly the same job.

  • Thread please! Amazing!

  • need new cranks, a better saddle and seapost for certain, but anyone got any ideas for this?

To found a seat post will be hard it's 26.2
Build it with low profile rim mavic, start fish crank, turbo saddle and better handelbar.
Or just sell me the frame I miss it so much.....

It's better in the sense that you shouldn't use a star nut in a non-ferrous steerer.

  • ^^^^ buy a nicer frame and spend less on shit wheels.

    Bit harsh... Cock

  • This page made me happy so far. Insane carbonz work!

Totally. I'd like to see his built and tbh that's the best bianchi pista I've seen in a while

If one uploads a picture of your bike to a public forum and ask for people's opinions on said bike, then expect feedback, both positive and negative.

The last vanity fixed bike I built looked like this:

I won't be building another bike of that ilk because I realised how much bike for the money you can get.

Thanks, but no offence taken and I agree with JB to a certain extent

  • Looks like that Panasonic was a bit small for you anyway JB. At least you and Amey have found bikes for life now.

  • I think if you're intent on throwing more money at it then you should get some Alpina tracks, would suit the rest of the build, and I've always thought the stock forks let them down. Alpinas would tighten up front end and maybe even give you a bit of bropro.

    Lol #REKT

  • Bikes for life.. damn, how boring is this forum getting.

  • lol 'bike for life'

bike for the next 6 months more like. pffft.

  • It's more fun riding bikes than fiddling with them. Just thought I'd put that out there.

  • JB has found bikes for life, not a bike, all the bikes.

  • Bike for month.
