Shocked to hear this, I run the beginners' polo session at London Fields and he was there late last year/early this year. Can't make the ride unfortunately but will donate to the cause.
Nice guy through and through, very positive, always good fun to have around, a life taken too young. R.I.P. Jamie.

What tragic news. Really liked Jamie. He was a top notch guy, always pitching in to help anyone out whenever he could and just a genuine nice chap. RIP

So sad to hear this news. I only met him once but he was such a nice and interesting guy. Such a sudden tragedy, thoughts to his family and friends.
My best friend and riding partner James (Jamie) Robert Lewis sadly passed away in his sleep on the 10th of April, dying from sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP). I cannot put into words my sadness at his death, but I am determined to make positive things happen because of it. For this reason, myself and many of the people that knew him will be cycling from Clissold park in Hackney, to Bristol in order to raise funds for the charity "SUDEP".
I'm posting this here partly to raise awareness for the charity, partly to give a link to a justgiving page that Jamies father set up (http://www.justgiving.com/JamieRobertLewis) for those that would like to sponsor us on the ride, or simply donate to the charity. And partly to invite those that might have known him to join us on the ride on the 5th of July as I know he posted on this forum (although I do not know his user-name so if anybody does that would be nice to know).
Jamie played bike polo in Bristol and in London, so you may know him from one of these events. He was always up for a challenge hence the reason we are going from London to Bristol.
I will post more detailed information as we approach the date as arrangements are finalised.
