2014-05-13 - Rider Down, Upper Thames Street

Just seen about 8.30 pm when commuting back home. Road closed in one way, many police cars and ambulances and forensics taking pictures. Yellow road bike lying on the road and a stationary lorry.

Hope the rider is fine. :(

Upper Thames St w/b between Southwark Brdg & Blackfriars underpass is currently closed due to a collision between a cyclist & a truck / A male cyclist in his 30s sustained serious injuries & was taken to hosp by @Ldn_Ambulance. A police investigation has been launched / The collision occurred at 19:50 hours and the road is expected to be closed for the next few hours.
