How are you getting on with this thing? Are all your watches now running to COSC standards? If you are in London I would mind you having a crack at a 7S26 I have, currently losing about a minute a day.
It's great fun to use, actually. Getting chronometer ratings depends on how recently the watch was last cleaned/oiled/adjusted and the quality/wear of the movement.
I put my Dad's 70's Omega Dynamic on, which had just been serviced, and it was running with 0mS beat error, and -1s per day accuracy which was consistent across positions. Pretty incredible.
My Omega '53 RAF watch hasn't ever been serviced in my ownership, but averages about +5s per day now that I've regulated it. However, there's probably about 30s per day difference between dial-up position and crown-down position. Cancels out depending on how it's worn though.
