I mistakenly thought this would go straight away; it's stunning!
I'll shave £25 off the complete and partial builds, so priced as follows:
I'll take £825 as you see it, inc the Ksyriums
I'll take £550 without the wheels/tyres/cassette
I'll take £325 frame, forks and headset only -

I just noticed this has had "531" views!

I am really keen to sell this quickly so happy to consider offers, especially on the "without wheels" option….there is also a possibility that I could sell it with a pair of almost new Shimano R500 wheels as an alternative option, which would get it down to around £675 as a full bike….

Sold!
Up for sale is my Reynolds 731 o/s Woodrup
This is a simply gorgeous frame, built with a "dropped top tube" or, if you like, "extended seat and head tubes"!
The detailing on the lugs is really nice - if you don't know anything about Kevin Sayles' work, then take a look here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kevin_sayles_bikes/
Kevin built this frame in 1993. It has a set of colour matched carbon forks fitted. Even the bottle cage bosses are done with flair, something you can't really see but if you look closely at the last but one photo below, you'll see that Kevin has actually handmade a "base" for the bosses that matches the lugwork!
The paintwork is in very good condition & really the only problem with it is that the decals were flaking off. I've overcome this by carefully wrapping helicopter tape over the decals which has saved them and unless you look very closely indeed, it looks very good.
The top tube is 56cm centre to centre and the seat tube is 59cm centre to (extended) top, 55cm centre to centre. It's set up for me in the pics at 5'10" and with a longer stem (which I can supply) it should suit up to 6'2" easily (it was built for a guy who was just over 6').
It's built with an interesting mix of mainly brand new modern parts, which give it the best of all worlds:
Colour matched full carbon 1" ahead forks
Campag Chorus aheadset
Campag Chorus carbon chainset - 10 spd, 53/39 and 172.5mm
Campag Record carbon/Ti bottom bracket
Shimano 105 shifters, rear mech and brakes (all brand new, never used - the shifters still have the protective film on the top of the levers)
105 10 speed cassette with light use
10 spd chain with light use
Campag Record carbon seatpost 27.2mm
Selle Italia X1 saddle (brand new, never used)
Deda Quattro stem, 11cm
Deda bars, brand new, unused
Shown with brand new unused Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels and new unused Michelin Pro 4 tyres
The bike runs perfectly and rides as you would expect; lovely springy steel ride, light and fast - perfect really!
This frame alone would cost you £1100 to replace if you were to ask Kevin to do so.
I'll take £850 as you see it, inc the Ksyriums
I'll take £575 without the wheels/tyres/cassette
I'll take £325 frame, forks and headset only
I'm based in Cheshire and postage is no problem if needed
