A lot of tool kits you'll find will have bits that don't apply to owning a single speed bike. Also, you only really need a few tools to maintain a SS bike. A good set of Allen keys, free wheel removal tool, chain tool, possibly BB tool and crank extractor and maybe a set of cable cutters. A tool kit probably won't contain most of that stuff.
