    I managed pretty well with BB7 after much faffing about with the rotor to the point that there's no caliper brakes that will stop me as effectively as the disc, especially in the wet, but I would not go back to single calipers after trying the Spyres (setting up is much quicker, and be sure to ditch the stock pads for a Shimano one).

    Even with compressionless outers I still found the BB7's a right old faff, but they were better than rim callipers, especially with semi organic pads.

    Then I swapped from SRAM to Shimano levers, now they're awesome.

    Gonna wait and see how good the Shimano hydro/mech levers are when they come out in August and probably go 11spd.
