Lovely GIOS Compact frame with good working 2x7 speed Shimano 105 group.
Great bike of the late 80ties made of Columbus SL tubing by famous Gios workshop in Torino Italy. The well known blue paint is overall very shiny but unfortunately it has some chips (see photo's) on the right side of the upper tube. No dents, serious scratches or damage. The chromed fork is nearly perfect.
Seat tube: 60 cm (c-t)
Top tube: 57 cm (c-c)
Bike is in a very good overall condition. It has all original marks of the high quality handmade Gios Compact frames like several engraved Gios marks and drop outs. Ofcourse it has the patented rear dropouts wich gives you the possibility to change the length of the frame.
Parts:
Smooth working Shimano 105 2 x 7 speed index shifting group with 52/42 crank set.
Wheels: Shimano 105 hubs with 7 speed cassette, Mavic MA2 rims and very fresh Schwalbe Lugano clincher tyres (did 1 ride only). The front wheel has a very very tiny turn.
Cinelli handle bar and alu stem.
Aluminium fluted seatpost with classic Selle Italia saddle
Shimano 600 headset and bb
Pedals: Shimano SPD clipless included
Bottle cage: 1 included
